Organic Friendship

Dear Ralph,
It is an exciting news that you are 70. Your hospitality and kindheartedness brought us together when I came for Residency interview at JUTH in February 1986.From that time on, you became closer than a brother. Many did not believe that we had not attended the same Medical School. That year you got married and Iyabo joined you and before the end of 1986, I followed your lead and married then Jose joined me. We were like twins in the department. Sharing an office with you helped me to study and work hard. The Lord blessed us with children and our training also progressed smoothly. You have been a positive influence on me and my family all through the period we were together in Jos and we are most grateful to you and Iyabo. Aside you and Godwin Imade, I have no other close friends to this day. Most members of my family know you. Only God bonded us together so quickly and so strongly over the last nearly 4 decades. Your movement to Lagos did little to diminish my affinity for you and your wonderful family.
As you turn 70, May the Lord bless you and keep you, May the Lord cause His light to shine upon you and be gracious unto you, May the Lord grant you peace. May sound health and strength be your portion. Ralph, take some time to recount His grace upon you and your family and celebrate your new status. May the Lord grant you more grace upon grace already given.
By His grace we shall be in the UK to celebrate God’s faithfulness with you and the family.
