It a pleasure for me to respond to the invitation extended to me by Tolu Olarewaju on the occasion of the 70th birthday anniversary of Raphael Sunday Olarewaju. The man Raphael Sunday is a role model in character in the field of academia, business and community service. From Secondary School to University, Raphael Sunday’s academic records were outstanding with several laurels and distinctions.
In business, he championed the establishment of Mother & Child Hospital from its conception to becoming one of the foremost health providers in Lagos State, Nigeria.
The contributions of Raphael Sunday to Community development is note worthy. He served as President of Oko Development Association for more than six years with several laudable programs for youth development. In addition, he actively participated in all the programmes of Club 7 Oko as one of the leading financial members of the Club.
It is an honour for me to share these messages with your family and friends. In my capacity as the First Asiwaju of Oko-Irese and President of Club 7 Oko, I congratulate you for attaining the age of 70 and still looking about 15 years younger. On behalf of Oko- Irene Community, members of Club 7 Oko and my family, I thank God for your life and wish you long life in good health in the service of humanity.
